The new Ford Ranger debuted almost a year ago. Now the Czech representative finally informs us that the car can already be ordered and at the same time reveals the Czech prices.
The Ford Ranger starts in the Czech Republic at the amount of CZK 990,000 without VAT for the XL work variant. At the other end of the range is the rugged Wildtrak version, which costs CZK 1,308,000 without VAT. If you order among the first, you will receive the new cars in July next year. You could order the sports version of the Ranger pick-up already from the spring months.
The XL, XLT and Limited versions are available with 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engines in a 125 kW (170 hp) variant with a 6-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic will also be available for the Limited trim. The range-topping Wildtrak has this twin-turbo engine tuned to 150 kW (204 hp) and a ten-speed automatic.
The biggest attraction of the Wildtrak will be the option of a 3.0 EcoBlue V6 engine with an output of 176 kW (240 hp) and a torque of 600 Nm. Combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission, it allows the Ranger to tow trailers weighing up to 3,500 kg. The six-cylinder and bi-turbo are already based on permanent all-wheel drive e-4WD.
“Ranger has become an icon in Europe and for a new generation of customers, it effectively defines the idea of how a pick-up truck should look and function. The Ranger has been the first choice of European customers before, but now we’ve used our global pick-up experience to bring a whole new level of utility to this remarkable new model.” said Hans Schep, CEO of Ford Pro Europe. We will discuss the equipment as soon as the Czech price list appears.
