David Pecker is the first witness called in the trial surrounding Trump’s alleged fake business records. The cover presents him as one of the actors of the criminal organization that, according to them, Trump used this fake mask. Accused source of payment to porn actress Stephanie Clifford, who received 130 thousand dollars (about K million) before the 2016 election to talk about her affair with Trump, who was the candidate at the time.

Pecker testified in court that such a story was discussed at a meeting with Trump and his first-in-command at the time, Michael Cohen, less than a year before the election. They asked me what I could do for him and what my associations could do to help the campaign, Politico quoted him as saying.

Pecker said that he promised his longtime friend Trump that he would publish positive texts about him and negative material about his opponents. And then I said… I will be vaima oima and uima, he continued. His words referred to an effort to capture and sink any negative Trump-related messages that may have surfaced in the campaign. Pecker then described how he paid someone to drill from the Trump Tower skyscraper to make false claims about Trump’s unborn child.

It happened under Trump’s watch

One of the reporters of The New York Times called the story a very, very good lie for the bully, which he denied, however guilty. Pecker, in his answers to questions asked by prosecutor Joshua Steinglass, repeatedly indicated that it took place under Trump’s supervision, although he only communicated with Cohen about these matters.

The cover tries to show that the ex-president hatched a conspiracy before the 2016 elections with the aim of unfairly influencing the public. The 130 thousand dollars (around 1 million K) that Cliffordov received from Cohen is part of this force. Trump later, according to the prosecutor, falsified 34 financial documents when he returned the first-year pension after his election. These acts can be classified as crimes only if they served to disguise and commit another crime.

The charges against Trump will probably be discussed in court in Manhattan for several weeks. It is the first capital trial in the United States. Trump wanted to go further with these cases, but one of them, due to the various delays, will probably not reach a verdict before the November presidential elections, in which Trump wants to run for re-election as a candidate of the Republican Party.

The New York trial is disrupting his campaign, or Trump has to appear in court every day of the main day. County witness statements are scheduled for Thursday.
