American tire manufacturer BFGoodrich launches a new improved tire for SUVs, pick-ups and off-road vehicles. He mainly worked on tread durability off asphalt.

We probably don’t even need to talk about the fundamental influence of tires on safe and trouble-free driving in all driving conditions. It even applies off-road, and one of the most popular tires in the relatively small segment of off-road footwear is the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 model. These days, he officially presents himself with a new evolution and is called KO3. The American manufacturer states that the new generation is based on the experience of the last ten years.

The new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 all-season tire comes on sale with a new tread developed to extend the life of the tire, especially on gravel. BFGoodrich states that the main contribution to this is the 3D locking system of the lamellae to optimize the contact of the tire with the driving surface.

At the same time, snow and mud traction has also improved, and the tire has received a Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake rating. With the 3PMSF mark (symbolizing three mountain peaks with a snowflake inside), you can use it in some European countries, such as Germany, as a replacement for mandatory winter tires where conditions require it.

BFGoodrich will start selling a new tire with a more durable compound this May. Initially, 13 sizes from 305/70 R16 to 295/60 R20 will be available, and another 17 sizes will appear on the market already in August. From September, dimensions for large 22″ wheels will also be available. The phase-in will continue until 2026, when BFGoodrich will sell more than 100 different sizes for pickups, SUVs and specialty vehicles.
