T-Mobile offers home internet via the 5G network. The maximum download speed will be up to 250 Mbit/s – MobilMania.cz

T-Mobile presents a new offer of home FWA internet, i.e. wireless internet for connection in a fixed location, for example in the home. The main transmission technology in this case is the mobile 5G (or LTE) network. There will be a total of four new Wireless Internet tariffs with download speeds of 20, 50, 100 and 250 Mbit/s (the latter will be launched by the operator only in the second half of April).

For the lowest three tariffs, the operator rents a 5G modem/router Xiaomi 5G CPE Pro (CB0401) with two gigabit Ethernet ports. The value of the modem is CZK 6,600. If you rent it for more than 5 and a half years, you will pay more

T-Mobile will offer its own hybrid device for all tariffs. The user can rent the Xiaomi 5G CPE Pro indoor desktop 5G modem/router for CZK 99 per month, plug it into the socket and simply install it himself without any drilling. However, the highest tariff with a speed of 250 Mbit/s will require installation by the operator’s technician, because this solution also includes an outdoor unit (a signal receiver that will not be dampened by windows). The highest tariff will cost 749 CZK, the price offer for lower tariffs is as follows:

With the Wireless Internet tariffs, you can purchase a connection to another address for a discounted price of CZK 149 per month. At the next address, however, the transfer speed will always be limited to 20 Mbit/s.

The operator has prepared an introductory event for new customers of the Wireless Internet service. As part of it, you can get a tariff with speeds of 50, 100 and 250 Mbit/s for a discounted price of CZK 299 per month for the first six months of using the service. The contract is concluded for an indefinite period and can be terminated at any time (for example, after the first six months of use at a discounted price) without penalty.
