Tesla launched the Model 3 Performance. It’s fast as hell and surprisingly cheap

The modernized version of the Tesla Model 3 Peformance is entering the Czech market, which brings the performance of super sports to the middle class and several novelties to the Tesla production program itself. The most fundamental one is the very first use of customized design. While the previous top-of-the-line versions differed in appearance only in wheel designs, ground clearance and the design of accessories, the new Performance brings a different design of both bumpers and the rear spoiler. It also offers slightly better dynamics than the pre-facelift version, namely the acceleration from rest to 100 km/h has improved from 3.3 to 3.1 s with an unchanged top speed of 262 km/h. And this despite the fact that the car manufacturer states a lower system performance; specifically, “more than” 466 hp (in the configurator, however, it says 460 hp, which is exactly 466 hp when converted to Central European PS), while the original version developed 534 hp. To add to the contradictions, the press information talks about 32% increase in nominal power.

All this is offered by Tesla for a very reasonable 1,367,990 CZK, to which, of course, a delivery and documentation fee of 25,500 CZK must be added. Even the resulting sum of CZK 1,393,490, however, looks very good considering the performance and equipment offered. In the basic equipment, the Performance also offers elements that are normally available at an additional cost in the competition. Specifically, 20″ forged wheels, an adaptive chassis with user-adjustable characteristics, anatomical sports seats with ventilation and carbon decorative elements. There are also powerful sports brakes and Pirelli P Zero 4 tires.

Deliveries will start in the second quarter, the Czech configurator is already launched with the possibility of a deposit of CZK 6,000. Information about the possibility of additional payment for Autopilot, FSD or any other elements was still missing at the time of writing.
