One of the most popular automotive segments is also very abundantly represented among used cars. Let’s imagine some of the most successful compact SUVs, which also have an exaggerated smell of newness.
A higher body structure with higher clearance has a lot of disadvantages. Such cars have more aerodynamic drag, so logically they need more fuel. They usually also have worse dynamics, handling and a less comfortable chassis, which has to tame the higher center of gravity.
Nevertheless, this category enjoys increasing interest from customers. They most likely do not consider the mentioned negatives to be so important, because they were much more charmed by the “off-road” appearance, which, however, is often not accompanied by all-wheel drive, and easier entry and exit.
Compact SUVs are a very decent compromise, which brings sufficiently handy external dimensions, but at the same time does not suffer from a lack of interior space and a low transport capacity. Many times, therefore, they function as family cars in all weathers and environments.
