Slávka’s appearance in the pub arouses Herman’s suspicion that Milena and Radek’s non-profit organization is not as honest as it seems. Something is taking place behind the scenes that is undoubtedly against the law and from which promising police officer Jirka should stay away. His father will try to see to it.

Gábina will be able to try on the wedding dress

On Thursday, Milena will bring Gába a healthy bun with almost no sugar, because she knows that her daughter does not like sweets. But she wanted to please her with something and show her gratitude for taking the time to sell her expensive handbag in the salon. But it is the high price that will most likely cause the buyer not to be found right away. This bothers Milena, she would need the money as soon as possible so that she could return it to Radek and not owe the traitor anything.

Gábina tries to convince her mother to talk to her father and get along normally. After all, they live together, they can’t fight all the time. How will it look like at the wedding? However, Milena assures her daughter that she intends to make a great appearance there. Well, really good news.

Suddenly Veronika appears and brings with her the first version of the wedding dress, so that Gábina can try them on. Of course, Milena would like to be there, so the ladies agree to meet again at the salon after work.

There is something rotten in Radek and Milena’s company

Milena will then head to the pub, where she will spread smiles and flattery in front of the respected judge. The good mood leaves her when Herman Sr starts poking at her disagreements with Slávek. Being a witness to their recent argument and the strange talk the ex-prisoner was having will be a source of much discomfort on Thursday.

Pumrová prefers to refer the curious judge to Radek, since he is now the director of Second Chance. She resigned. Herman is understandably surprised by this news, and not in a pleasant way. It will be further proof for him that something nefarious is happening at the core of the non-profit organization. Without further ado, Mastný will ask about it too. The families are soon to be reunited and Herman Radka will clearly point out that he does not intend to tolerate the compromising of his reputation theirs, from which the honorable judges themselves come. Jirka is a successful criminal investigator, and any connection with Second Chance, however remote, could make it difficult for journalists.

After all, with this conclusion, Herman gets out in front of Jirka himself later in the shop, where they meet before going to tennis. Jirka objects that she intends to marry Gábina, not her parents, and that he is simply not interested in what is happening in their society. It’s none of his business and none of the judge’s business, so he shouldn’t dig into it any further. But the father calls Jirk’s approach naive and unreasonable. Journalists will drag him through the mud, because if something illegal is really going on at the non-profit, sooner or later they will find out.

The last attempt to influence something is made by Herman on Gábina. He outlines the whole serious situation to her without perhaps wanting to blame her. She knows very well that she got into the problems surrounding the non-profit through no fault of her own, but she figures in them whether she wants to or not. She should at least know what’s at stake – above all, Jirko’s successful future.
