Famous beauties and their recipe for aging gracefully

--

Recently, more and more celebrities have been seen in the media and on social networks women who are not ashamed of their wrinkles. And they look great! Which doesn’t mean that they haven’t considered or even undergone various beautification procedures in the past.

Over time, however, they realized that many of them hurt their appearance more than they help. And they found their own way to age gracefully. They understood that a smile and a good mood can often do more than the interventions of plastic surgeons. A very inspiring approach! So who can be a role model for us in this regard?

Kristin Davis

When the next series of the favorite started airing Sex in the City series after 20 years, everyone was suddenly surprised. God, they’ve gotten old! Yes, the heroines of the legendary series are already approaching 60, so they really can’t look like they did in their twenties. Kristin took it hard and was talked into getting her lips done and fillers applied. In an interview for The Telegraph but then she admitted how she regretted it.

“No one told me how weird it would look and how long it would take to be me again. It was very stressful,” admitted Kristin. Now she appears without interventions and almost without make-up. Like, for example, in a picture from a vacation in Kenya at the beginning of this April, where she has only sun-kissed hair and no makeup. And it suits her perfectly. At fifty-nine? We applaud!

Gwyneth Paltrow

A youthful, almost girlish look is for the actress Gwyneth Paltrow typical. He owes it above all to a healthy diet and an effort to look at the world as unoptimistically as possible. But even she admits that coping with aging is not easy. “Unfortunately, I’m pretty critical of myself,” Gwyneth told People magazine. “However, I would like to get in the mood when I stop worrying about the addition of another wrinkle. And I’ll just accept it,” she confided.

And she also added that she would not want to go back to the time when she was 20 or 30 years old. “I know myself and I know how much I actually like the wisdom and perspective that only comes with age. Much more important to me now is how I perceive and feel and whether I like myself enough,” she added.

Julianne Moore

This cute redhead she abounds not only in physical beauty and over the years it loses nothing of its attractiveness, but also of its undoubted beauty of spirit. Her soulfulness can also be seen in her acting and literally bursts from the cinema screens. What is the approach to aging of this sixty-three-year-old beauty?

“Is there an appropriate way to age? Of course, we have no other choice. That’s just the way it is. It’s part of being human, so why do we keep talking about it like it’s something we have control over?” Moore told the magazine As If. “Let’s learn new things, try to be useful to others, let’s manage our lives so that they are rich in experiences. That’s what aging should be about,” added Julianne.

Andie MacDowell

When she appeared at the end of the lockdown Andie MacDowell with completely gray hair, garnered a lot of praise. During the pandemic, she stopped dyeing and stuck with it. “As an actress, I suffered a lot in this business because I felt the pressure to look younger,” said Andie MacDowell for Vogue magazine. “But I don’t agree with that. Do I only have value if I’m beautiful and desirable?” Andie asked. “We don’t do this to men! We love men as they age. I would like the same for women. And you see, we are slowly getting there… Every step is good,” she added.

Halle Berry

“We all age. Our skin will shrink and we will look different. I can see my face and my body changing, but I’m not done yet! Beauty is more than just the physical body you present to the world,” Berry told the magazine AARP. “I refuse to become someone who is just trying to keep a youthful face and not embrace what is most important – how you live your life, how you treat people, how and what you nourish and strengthen your mind, body and soul. I think society should look at women as gems, because the older we get, the more formidable we are,” added Berry.
