The last one for the time being was given the title Black Heart in the Czech translation, and soon after the book publication, it also received its audiobook form performed by Martin Zahálka. You have to set aside a full forty-six and a half hours to listen to the entire respectably extensive recording, but not a single second of boredom will fit into it.
As usual, the central characters are the London private detective Cormoran Strike and his charming work partner Robin Ellacott. This time, too, their shy personal relationship, which is not fully clarified, weaves through the entire story as one line.

Black Black Heart introduces the reader to the modern technical world, not only with its content, but also with the form of processing. As a work, the book is told in a classic way in real time, in which events happen and people act. However, the plot is partly advanced by the communication of other participating characters in the game chat. We thus learn about the events through their correspondence and slowly get to know the characters of the characters who appear under nicknames.
Black Black Heart is an animated series whose main, somewhat morbid setting is an old London cemetery. However, it will gain enormous popularity on YouTube, so much so that even the commercial film industry will take a serious interest in it. At the same time, a game inspired by this series will be created in the digital space, behind which secret creators stand and which is becoming similarly popular.
Only so much is known about its origin that it is headed by a person of unknown identity who calls himself Anomie. She manipulates others without restraint. The whole thing gets even more serious when the first murder occurs in connection with the series and the game, but it will not be the last. Both the police and a pair of private detectives Strike and Ellacott are involved in the search. However, other connections with possible connections to the extreme right and neo-fascist cells surface.
Like the five previous books, Black Heart is a brilliantly written crime novel with a generous dose of dramatic tension and surprising twists. However, it is also interesting in the modern form in which it is told.
