OK TV will start broadcasting on the afternoon of May 16

Another free thematic channel will start operating on the Czech market. The company OK Music Television s.r.o. will launch a station under the name OK TV. It will be possible to watch the broadcast on a classic terrestrial antenna and also on selected TV operators.

The broadcast will start on May 16, 2024 in the afternoon. The broadcast will be tuned by viewers in the all-area DVB-T2 multiplex 24 and in other operators with whom intensive negotiations are underway. SledovaniTV is so far the only OTT/IPTV service that has confirmed the inclusion of the program in the offer. The station will not be on the satellite yet – for economic reasons. Terrestrial broadcasting will be in SD, the operator will provide the signal in HD to paid network operators.

The motto of the OK TV station is “Television that will appreciate you”. He will regularly appreciate the audience. In addition to a whole range of entertainment, lifestyle and music programs, including those that will be broadcast live, OK TV viewers will be able to win daily smaller and larger valuable prizes.

OK TV will not broadcast classic news, politics or crime fiction, but there will definitely be talk shows, competitions, entertainment and lifestyle programs and, in the future, journalism as well. The station primarily targets viewers aged 35+ who are looking for humor, comfort and kindness.

Modern television studios OK TV
The author of modern, timeless and multifunctional studios is Martin Hruška, a world-class stage designer who has behind him countless prestigious television, cultural and sports projects here and abroad, including cooperation with the biggest stars of show business. When creating the OK TV studios, he was inspired by those that work in the world.

If I’m really proud of something, it’s that the real form of the studios exactly matches my original designs and visualizations. Especially since the construction of four studios A, B, C, D was completed in less than six months,” mentions Martin Hruška.

Program menu OK TV
Every weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., OK TV viewers will be introduced to OK START, a live moderated composed lifestyle block. In it, they can look forward to three couples: Radka Pavlovčinová and Dominik Porta, Bára Mottlová and Vojta Sklenář and Veronika Lálová and Tomáš Löble. The program will feature a number of well-known personalities from the ranks of singers, musicians, actors, athletes, but also experts always on the given topic of the day. There will also be ‘quick cooking’ TASTY WITH BETTY AND VOJTA with the partner couple Betty and Vojta Urbanová, who always prepare quick and tasty snacks or lunches.

Among other things, OK TV viewers can also look forward to the competition programs ONE ON ONE with moderator Petr Šiška, where they can win up to CZK 100,000, as well as CO ČECH, TO PROFESOR, where guide René Kekely stops passers-by on the street and asks them tricky questions. For each correct answer, they win 100 CZK, in total they can win up to 1,000 CZK. The same moderator will also transfer his highly successful talk show FACE TO FACE to the TV airwaves, where he talks face to face with interesting people and reveals to the audience their fates and professional interests.

From the world of music, the program will include KARTOTÉKA by Martin Hrdinka, FESTÁK with Genny Ciatti, HITPARÁDA with Radka Pavlovčinová, and the legendary Pavel Anděl is returning to the television after many years. His ANGEL NIGHT will be broadcast live every Wednesday.

The fascinating world of circuses, arenas and variety shows will be revealed by presenter and singer Šárka Vaňková in the special program HVĚZDY MANÉŽE.

News from the world of show business will be brought to OK TV viewers every evening by the VIP KOKTEJL program, which will be alternately accompanied by Klára Šedová, Šárka Vaňková and Dominik Port.

With the actress and presenter Alicia Bendová, her sister Andrea and their star guests, OK TV viewers can cook and bake several times a week in the early evening project WITH ALICA IN THE KITCHEN.

Eva Decastelo and Bára Mottlová will regularly talk about topics that are of interest to (not only) women with their guests from various professions, including artistic ones, in the program HOLKY NA TAHU.

With Aleš Cibulka, in his talk show SEJDEME SE U CIBULKA, various well-known personalities from the world of film, theater and television will meet.

MILOŠ KNOR’S TALK SHOW will take care of slightly incorrect and sarcastic humor and sometimes deadly (im)serious topics.

There will also be sports! The program NAPLNO with Veronika Lálová will present sports personalities as many do not know them and will discuss their successes and sometimes failures together.

Moderator and singer Tomáš Löbl will invite colleagues from the industry to his car in the KÁRAOKE show, who will reveal what they are planning and sing together along the way.

OK TV also thinks about children – Valentýna Bečková and Jakub Jenčík will present a big competition show SCHOOL WITH A GAME, where children from primary schools will face each other against adults from the ranks of well-known personalities.

Lešek Wronka and his daughter Magdalena will present the stories of AUNT KLĚTY for the little ones, and the ventriloquist Zdeněk Polach and his sometimes talkative puppet Matýsek will entertain both young and old in the children’s show ZDENĕK A MATÝSEK

OK TV license
Behind the OK TV project is the company OK Music Television s.r.o., which received a license for terrestrial broadcasting at the first session of this year held on January 16, 2024. The license is valid for 12 years. The station is based in Žižkov, Prague, from where it will broadcast from four multifunctional studios.

According to the license, OK TV will focus on music, lifestyle and entertainment produced in the Czech Republic, as well as video clips from around the world. It is to broadcast 24 hours a day in Czech on the territory of the Czech Republic.

OK TV’s program mix is ​​to include music, entertainment shows, video clips, lifestyle shows and other documentaries as well as sports shows.
