American rapper and music producer Travis Scott, known for his wild concerts, will perform in Prague on July 18, where he will present his latest album, Utopia. As part of his performance called Circus Maximus in the O2 arena, he will offer backdrops reminiscent of the Roman Forum Romanum and pyrotechnic effects. Ondřej Pojzl informed ČTK about this on behalf of the organizing agency Live Nation.

Tickets starting at 1,690 crowns will be on sale from May 10.

Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, has released four albums so far, on the last one, last year’s Utopia, guesting representatives of contemporary hip hop such as Drake, Beyoncé, The Weeknd, James Blake and others. The critically acclaimed album has garnered over 50 billion streams worldwide. Additionally, Spotify named Utopia the most streamed album in the first week of 2023.

Similar to other rappers, Scott’s career has been accompanied by problems with the law. For example, after performing at Lollapalooza in 2015, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after urging fans in the front rows to disobey the organizers’ safety instructions.
