These are intended to help these people find employment more easily, but also to get rid of other problems, such as debt.
This follows from the package of laws on the integration social enterprise, which the government sent to the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday. This plan could begin to be drawn up as early as three months after the people in question are registered at the labor office.

As part of this individual action plan, according to earlier statements, officials should also cooperate with other organizations, such as debt counseling centers or educational institutions, to solve the situation of these people.

The proposal is part of a broader plan by which Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Marian Jurečka (KDU-ČSL) wants to adjust the status of social enterprises that provide work to people who are difficult to employ. “We are setting up how to help and involve people with different types of disabilities. That is, not only people with disabilities, for whom we give an employment allowance, but also other groups of people who need a certain degree of help, accompaniment, and these are people with a certain degree of handicap,” said Jurečka.
So far, social enterprises focus mainly on the disabled, although there are exceptions. According to the minister, they could help, for example, people after serving a sentence, addiction treatment, people in their sixties or young people coming out of children’s homes. They should also provide them with social counseling.
Newly, according to Jurečka, the system would provide them with contributions in three categories – for health-disadvantaged employees, for socially disadvantaged employees and a motivational bonus for a person’s long-term return to the regular labor market.
The law and related amendments have yet to be approved by lawmakers and signed by the president.
