Sightseeing car train ride Karlovy Vary 2024 will take place for the first time this year on Monday, April 1!
See the spa town of Karlovy Vary from a carriage of the popular Karlovy Vary car train. The sightseeing ride is intended for those who want to get to know the city from a different perspective than on foot and will welcome the fact that a comfortable car train will take them to new sights. Comfort and a good view from it are ensured by the glass walls of the wagons, which can be pulled down on hot summer days. Conversely, in cold weather, the set is fully heated. The round trip takes approximately 40 minutes.
The route leads through stops: Hlavni pošta – Tržnice – Theater Square – Richmond – Theater Square.
You can ride the car train with three carriages and a capacity of 36 passengers around the spa center of Karlovy Vary every day between 11:10 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. from May 1 to September 30. In April and October, it runs on Fridays and weekends.

Archeology is one of the scientific fields that enables the comprehensive study and interpretation of the ancient and relatively recent past. The material that archaeologists work with is not only found in spatially narrowly defined “sites”, but is an integral, albeit invisible at first glance, part of today’s world. Artifacts and ecofacts left by generations of our ancestors in today’s landscape enable a deeper understanding of the material culture of past periods and allow us to see into the thinking and behavior of people in prehistoric times, the Middle Ages and modern times.
