A massive tsunami of disappointment flooded the locker room of the Pisek basketball players on Sunday. The home defeat against Olomouc just before the superstructure was sealed deprived them of the opportunity to play in the preliminary round of the playoffs, and their first season in the top competition will end this week.

The Písečtí Sršni will not reach the knockout stages during their rookie season in the top competition.

The team from Písek played an excellent first half and already led 55:43 during the second quarter, but immediately fell out of the game and at the turn of the first and second half of the meeting they allowed Hanák 15 points without capturing even one.
