Elections for faculty rights defenders are underway: UP Faculty of Education

Today, we are starting the first ever elections for human rights defenders at our faculty. The mission of this institute is to co-create a safe, welcoming and fair study and work environment and to work together to improve relations between students, academic staff and other faculty employees, which is, after all, one of the important goals of the faculty management.

Elections take place only electronically, in the application volby.upol.cz. Voting started today at 00:01 and it will be possible to vote until April 7, 2024 until 23:59.

In accordance with the internal standard PdF-B-23/16 Protector of rights at PdF UP, academic and other PdF UP workers with a full-time 0.5 and above and students who are employees or students of PdF UP on the day of the election are authorized voters. Each eligible voter may vote only once. When voting, it is possible to mark a maximum of one male candidate and one female candidate.

Both candidates have already presented their ideas about this institute and the election thesis at a public debate on March 18, 2024.
