The Easter market on the square in front of the Mother Teresa Community Center in Prague 11 kicked off the market season. The stalls offered a rich selection of traditional products as well as imaginative decoration.

“This year, for the first time, we are doing Easter markets, or rather pre-Easter markets, which are from Monday to Thursday before Easter, and here behind me you can see some Easter goods, there was also a smaller accompanying program,” said Zuzana Böhmová (Pirates) – deputy mayor of Prague 11 Municipal Council .

Even after Easter, however, the space will not remain empty for long. As of April 3, the market stalls should regularly offer typical farm goods.

“Farmers’ markets, as is traditionally the case in the Southern Town, are held every Monday and Wednesday, and what you can find here are fruit and vegetables from Czech farmers, as well as sausages and pastries,” said Zuzana Böhmová (Pirates) – deputy mayor of Prague 11 .

Farmers’ markets will be held here regularly until the end of November. On December 4, they will be replaced by Christmas stalls.

“Which we also had last year for the first time in several years, and the Christmas markets will then be continuous for almost three weeks, with weekend programs, musical accompaniment, fairy tales for children and so on,” said Zuzana Böhmová (Pirates). – Deputy Mayor of Prague 11 Municipality.

In addition, all fairs and markets also promise a number of accompanying events for adults and children. Entertainment, seasonal goods and the opportunity to relax will be taken care of in Prague 11 all year round.
