OFand in the first three months of this year, developers in Prague sold 2.5 times more apartments than in the same period last year. A total of 1,600 new buildings disappeared from the offer. According to the price lists of development projects, their average price was reduced only cosmetically to 152,644 crowns per square meter. It decreased by six percent year-on-year and by only 0.1 percent compared to the previous quarter. This is shown by the regular quarterly analysis of the companies Trigema, Skanska Residential, Central Group.
The sharp year-on-year increase in the number of new construction sales is the result of a low base of comparison, as the start of 2023, along with the second half of 2022, was the worst period for sales in more than a decade.
