The Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GA ČR) will support two new research projects in cooperation with its partner agency from Germany, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). The goal of the first is to develop financial models that will be able to capture complex phenomena on financial markets. The second of the newly supported projects will focus on research into congenital heart defects.
Both projects will start to be solved this year. Project proposals were evaluated in the form of Lead Agency, where only one of the participating agencies evaluates the project proposal and the other takes over the evaluation from it. GA CR acted as an evaluation agency for the project RNDr. Hany Kolesová, Ph.D., for the project of prof. Irina Perfiljeva, CSc., was the German agency DFG. Each of the agencies finance the cost of the solution from its state.
