From a purely economic point of view, the Czech Republic is a true anomaly. It does show a relatively large surplus of electricity produced, but the percentage of its domesticity is due to its high price. Even excluding the EU customs, it is issued according to the purchasing power standard, which allows for international comparability. And that’s why, in the same year last year, the Czech Republic produced the fourth largest volume of electronics in the EU.

In addition, which is an anomaly of its kind, despite such high prices, electricity in Italy recovered at a high rate in the second half of last year, the second highest in the EU. Meziron, the price of electricity in Esk has risen by 83 percent. Vraznji grew, however, from a much smaller warehouse in the EU than only in the Netherlands. Dutch prices are still on par, only slightly more than half of Czech prices.

Last year, in the second half of the year, the Czech Republic exported 11.6 terawatt-hours of electricity, while it imported 6.1, according to data from the Montel company (see table no). This is in fact the answer to imports in the volume of 5.5 terawatt hours. Only France exported 31.1 terawatt-hours of electricity, followed by the Netherlands (14 terawatt-hours) and the Netherlands with 8.8 terawatt-hours. France’s high imports were made possible by the drastic renewal of production in its hundred-year-old nuclear units, which a year or two ago underwent extensive shutdowns due to repairs and demolition work.
