The tradition of the food festival in Klatovy will continue this year as well. As always, you can look forward to plenty of flavors, but the change will be the location. It will not be held in the orchards but in the area of ​​the gas plant.

Klatované can look forward to the food festival on May 11 in Cibulková street “at the gas station” from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. “We are continuing the tradition of the food festival, which was started here. It will be held in the premises of the gas plant, where I have our coffee roaster. The location allows us to hold this event here, so we will look forward to people coming to see us,” said organizer Antonín Fára from the Yemenites roastery.

Visitors will have something to look forward to. Traditional rich Czech cuisine, fresh Italian specialties will be presented at the festival, Indian cuisine is prepared for lovers of spicy tastes, and there will also be a variety of Asian cuisine offering sushi. This will not be missing in the colorful form that Lukáš Neckář is known for. Breweries and wineries will also be presented, you can enjoy mixed drinks, good coffee and something sweet to bite into.

To diversify the atmosphere, jazz will be played, and in the evening the bands Adys and Chai will perform.

In short, not even the children will come. “The little ones will be entertained by the clown, there will be face painting. They will watch the performances of dance groups and the like,” said Fára, adding that adults will also compete.
