Thank you Reiner. Wednesday May Day will also be sunny and warm

--

Ústí Region – The rest of the spring will hopefully get by without extreme temperature fluctuations and it won’t be completely after the harvest…

The May Day week started with blue skies (the high clouds are probably not worth talking about) and summer temperatures. In one place in the Ústí Region, it was hotter than on the Greek island of Corfu. If you guess Doksany, you are right. In Doksany they were 27.4 °C, in Corfu four tenths of a degree Celsius less. Just for fun.

Twelve years ago we had a tropical time of love. And this can only be said because they measured 30.4 °C in Doksany. In the national sense, love was the hottest in Strážnice in the south of Moravia, where it reached 31.5 °C. For example, the residents of Ostrava reported 30.7 °C.

It won’t be thirty this year:

April 30th: Morning temperatures around 16 to 12 °C, afternoon around 23 to 27 °C.

May 1: Morning temperatures around 16 to 12 °C, afternoon around 21 to 25 °C.

May 2nd: Morning temperatures around 16 to 12 °C, afternoon around 21 to 25 °C.

With clouds it will be as follows: Tuesday mostly clear, Wednesday mostly clear to almost clear, but in the afternoon to partly cloudy, Thursday partly clear to cloudy, after lunch with showers and thunderstorms.

Cool down to finish: during the “ice wave” last week in the Ore Mountains, it was solidly freezing. The Rolava station recorded a value of -15.7 °C on the night of April 23, which is not often recorded even in January. Oh that April…

One more thing: Reiner is a pressure high centered over the border of Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia that is sending warm air to us from the south. However, it will soon be replaced by a pressure trough or a pressure trough. So there won’t be many sunny days…
