These are just a handful of the stellar performers who will perform at this year’s event Colors of Ostrava. The event takes place from July 17 to 20 in Dolní Vítkovice. It’s fast approaching, so it’s good to know the practical details.

Don’t want to splurge on a full-size camper? Various sleeping structures are becoming more and more popular, thanks to which two adults can comfortably sleep in a passenger car. They are offered by independent companies, but sometimes by the car manufacturer itself as part of original accessories.
The organizers advise that, for safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to sleep in the official parking lot in cars or other cars. So even if you “only” have a passenger car or a small van with a sleeping unit, sleeping on the parking area is not possible. However, you can use the campsite near the Silesian Ostrava Castle.

Buying your own caravan can be expensive. However, for a reasonable price, you can just borrow it for the given date, which saves you money and worries about regular service.
In it you can buy a place for a tent, but also a caravan without or with an electric connection. To this price (a complete overview can be found below) it is then necessary to add 590 CZK for each person who will occupy the residence.

The area for rent has a maximum size of 9×3 and it must be cleaned before leaving it. A camping spot is available to all visitors with a valid festival ticket. You can buy both now on the official website of the Colors of Ostrava festival. On-site check-in can be speeded up by downloading and filling in an accommodation card in advance, which can also be downloaded from the event website.
