ÚSTECKÝ REGION – Several dozen schools participated in the art and literary competition
The winners of the literary and art competition “Safe transport of the future”, which has been running for several years as part of the nationwide project “Market’s transport education” and in the Ústí region, were awarded in the last few days, always directly in their classrooms, in front of their eyes and behind the applause of other classmates. In the Ústí Region, children from schools from Ústí nad Labem, Teplice, Litoměřice and Loun were successful.
For this year, the theme of the competition was “Safe transport of the future”. Children traditionally competed in four categories. In the first category, the art works of children from kindergartens competed with each other, in the second category the art works of pupils of the first grade of elementary schools, in the third category of the art works of pupils of the second grade. grades of primary schools and in the fourth category all literary works. The contestants could capture their idea of what safe transport of the future could look like using any artistic and literary means. A drawing, model, photo story, narrative or, for example, a poem could be submitted to the competition. The children’s imagination was not limited in any way.
There were many very successful competition works on the given topic, which meant a difficult task for the evaluation committee, which had to select only three winners in each category.
The children received diplomas and small gifts from the policemen of the press and prevention department of our regional directorate.
The winners, who were awarded in the regional round, proceed to the nationwide round, the ceremonial announcement of which will take place in mid-June this year.
We thank everyone who sent their works to the competition, and we congratulate the award-winning winners from our region once again and we will hold imaginary fists for them in the nationwide round.Safe transport of the future
