Definitely. We know the play-off system is about goals and we conceded two unnecessary ones. It is a big influence and complication of the double match.

In the second half, you tried not to concede a goal rather than reduce it. Was that on purpose?
I wouldn’t exactly say there were such instructions, but we knew we couldn’t afford to collect anymore. There were some signs. We came here with the idea that it would get tougher, so that we wouldn’t get a goal, on the contrary, we scored one and could go to breaks. That worked, but we conceded three times after our mistakes. All three goals could have been prevented. Hradec deserved the victory more, but we made it easier for them.
Is at least Jáchym Šíp’s second goal in the second match in a row a plus?
We had the intention that one striker should go for the ball and the other behind it. I didn’t expect such an ending from him. It was brilliant. Let him continue and score more goals.
You played with Hradec for the third time in the league plus once in Malta. Is it a different team under coach David Horejš than under Václav Kotal?
They are now more dangerous up front. They have construction and more spin. Vašek Pilař bounces more to the center. We were preparing for it, but there are situations in the match when we didn’t always know when to step on whom. I have to praise Hradec.

Retaliation will be tough. We saw the strength of Hradec, which is organized and difficult to get into. Even though he led by two goals, we didn’t have any extra pressure or opportunities there. They closed it well. We are not packing it, but it will be key to score early, especially to score the first goal.
