The flowers that are part of the exhibition at the Floria horticultural exhibition will bring joy even after the event is over. It will please the clients of the social services of the city of Kroměříž, homes for the elderly in the Zlín region and patients in hospitals in Kroměříž and Uherské Hradiště.

“The Kroměříž Exhibition Center is an important partner for the city not only in the field of tourism. I appreciate the fact that it does not forget even the oldest citizens of the city in its activities and that after last year’s premiere of donating flowers to the elderly, it again started this exemplary cooperation between a private company and the non-profit sector,” said the mayor of the city, Tomáš Opatrný.

According to spokeswoman Michaela Ohlídalová, the representatives of the exhibition center brought a total of around six hundred cut flowers to the Home for the elderly U Kašna. “We take it as a very pleasant act. Our clients are usually in high need of care, immobile, and the flowers made them happy and brought them closer to the beautiful event we have in the city,” noted Dagmar Klučková, Director of Social Services of the City of Kroměříž.
The exhibition center will continue to give out flowers even after the end of the second stage of Spring Floria. According to Ohlídalová, other flowers will be delivered to homes for the elderly in the Zlín region and also to hospitals in Kroměříž and Uherské Hradiště.
