The police and firefighters had to intervene at several banks that are relatively close to each other. There is Komerční banka and ČSOB in the former Grand Hotel, and Česká spořitelna and Uni Credit on Husová náměstí. “We received an anonymous threat to the emergency line at 10:15 a.m. that there was a bomb in the bank in Podmokle. Considering the seriousness of the situation, a dog handler was called in with a dog focused on searching for explosives,” said police spokeswoman Eliška Kubíčková.

In addition to the police, firefighters also went to the scene, all affected buildings had to be evacuated. Altogether there were almost four dozen people. “After inspecting the buildings, during which we did not find any bait system, we ended the event.
