The participants wrote about the meeting in Germany for the “Living Friendship” project:

“On Saturday morning, we all took the train from Teplice station to Northern Bavaria. At dinner, we met up with already known students from Germany again and looked around the city. In the following days, we got to know the beauty and culture not only of Bayreuth itself, but also of the botanical garden, local universities and, above all, we had foreign students show us around the school and the city itself. There was also an introduction to the Czech Republic through our presentations and prepared tastings of typical dishes.”

“We also had the opportunity to receive certificates from the mayor of Bayreuth and hear a short speech about the history of the city. We will also take back the experience of the local opera, which was built by Vilemína Pruská and which we then learned more about together with R. Wagner. One of the following days we visited to Nuremberg, to the Kaiserburg and to the streets of the city itself. Despite the bad weather, we went for a walk around the Fichtelsee on the penultimate day, after the interesting classes we were able to attend at the GCE gymnasium.”

“Finally, we listened to a concert by the Big Band of German students and ended the day with a dinner, during which an official farewell took place. The next day we relaxed on the train home. Everyone enjoyed this event very much and we thank you for all the new experiences, memories and experiences not only in communication in foreign languages, but mainly in establishing friendly relations with others. We are already looking forward to other similar events.”
