The Olomouc transport company is celebrating the 125th anniversary of the start of regular tram service this year.
For this occasion, he prepared an Open Day on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What can you look forward to?
Tour of the depot in Koželužská street and the parking hall in Jeremenkova street, including T3 type tramcars, Škoda INEKON Astra, INEKON TRIO, Vario, EVO, buses, electric bus and historic tram No. 16.
A ride on a historic set of trams ev. No. 223 and 99 in the route: Hlavní nádraží > Žižkovo náměstí> U Sv. Morice > Náměstí Hrdinů > Tržnice > Hlavní nádraží > Fibichova
Ride on the historic Škoda 706 RTO bus on the route: Sokolská > Fibichova > Sokolská.
There is also an accompanying program of the Czech Red Cross and the Police of the Czech Republic (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
You can view the historical Czechoslovak-made Zbrojovka Brno and Tatra cars from the years 1933-1936 and the historical fire truck from 1929 SDH Olomouc – Chválkovice.
There will be a bouncy castle, plenty of refreshments and competitions for small gifts for children.
For transportation to the venue, it is also possible to use regular public transport lines, in addition to special trips of the historic tram set and historic bus.
You can get to the tram depot in Koželužská street by tram lines no. 2, 3 and 4 – stop U Sv. Morice.
