The governor of the Odessa region, Maksym Marchenko, also reported on the Telegram about a successful attack by the Ukrainian navy.
An unverified video of the intervention appeared on social networks. So far, however, there is no demonstrable indication of when it was filmed, or whether it shows the intervention of the tug Vasily Bech.
The Tor system, which the Ukrainians said was on board, is a short- to medium-range ground-to-air missile system. It is designed to protect industrial facilities and ground forces from the means of air attack and reconnaissance (aircraft, helicopters, missiles with a flat flight path and unmanned reconnaissance aircraft).
