UEFA punished Sparta with a fine of 15,750 euros (400,000 crowns) for pyrotechnics in the audience during the return match on February 22 against Galatasaray, which coach Brian Priske’s team won 4:1 and advanced to the round of 16 of the competition.

In it, Prague faced Liverpool and suffered debacles 1:5 at home and 1:6 in England. For the home match played on March 7, Sparta must pay 16,500 euros (420,000 crowns) for pyrotechnics, 16,000 euros (405,000 crowns) for blocking passages and 3,250 euros (80,000 crowns) for throwing objects on the pitch.

In the same phase of the European Conference League, Viktoria Plzeň was punished with a fine of 30,000 euros (750 thousand crowns) and a conditional closure of the stand for a thrown cup that hit the back of the head of the goalkeeper Servette Geneva Jérémy Frick.

A fine for Bohemka as well

In this season of the Conference League, Bohemians 1905 from Prague were also penalized for the behavior of the fans in the preliminary round with Bodö/Glimt. For inappropriate shouts, use of pyrotechnics and blocking of stairs and exits in the stands, the “Klangaros” were fined 570,000 crowns.

In November, Slavia even paid 2.23 million crowns after the Europa League winning match with AS Rome, which is the highest fine they received from UEFA. The disciplinary committee also reprimanded her for blocking the staircase and exits, the use of pyrotechnics in the “cauldron” in the North stand, provocative and insulting slogans in the stands and throwing objects onto the playing field.
