Directly on the operator’s Facebook, it is possible to find the complaints of dozens of other people, not only from Prague, but also from Olomouc, Beroun, Teplice, Semil, Litvínov or Brno. “Rokycany – no signal or data either,” complained Martina T on the social network.

The DownDetector server, which monitors the unavailability of individual services, has already recorded more than 1,600 reports from Vodafone users. The vast majority of them complain that their phones are completely without a signal, and a fifth of people complain about problems with mobile internet.
According to the DownDetector server, the first users reported problems as early as 8 o’clock in the morning, and the number of complaints about the unavailability of services was constantly increasing. According to user feedback, Vodafone’s mobile services did not work even after 9 o’clock.
“At this time, some customers may have problems with the mobile network or with calling the Customer Care Line *77. We apologize for the complications and we are doing everything to resolve the situation soon,” said Vodafone spokesperson Ondřej Luštinec for Novinky.cz.
So it’s possible that some users didn’t notice Thursday’s outage at all.
It is not clear at this time what caused the outage, how many users are affected and when a remedy could be arranged.
