Czech Television’s criminal news leads in viewership!

According to the Mediaguru server, Prima experienced a decrease in viewership of the series after the broadcast of the new Czech TV crime drama Call my agent and knocked him out of the top six most-watched shows on Sunday. Although the new crime drama hit Nova’s viewership, the series Iveta still holds second place in the top six. Thanks to this, he discovers the case of 18-year-old Eva, who was strangled in her apartment almost twenty years ago. There are only fifteen days left before the statute of limitations for the murder, so Josef decides to solve the case, and even the repeated use of illegal methods on the edge of the law does not prevent him from doing so.

The authors of the script are Jakub Režný and Aleš Preis. The series was directed by Peter Bebjak, whose novelty Whirlwind it did not have much success in cinemas. But the same cannot be said about his television news. The main role of detective Josef is played by Tomáš Maštalír, and his partner in the investigation Michal was played by Martin Hoffman. Zuzana Stivínová, Pavla Beretová, Albert Čuba or Jan Vondráček appeared in other roles.

The crime series has two more episodes ahead of it, which Czech Television broadcasts every Sunday after eight o’clock in the evening.
