The seventh match was, as expected, very cautious from both sides. We had to wait until the 50th minute for the first goal, when William Nylander scored after a great pass from Auston Matthews. After conceding a goal, Boston immediately turned on its engines and within less than two minutes managed to equalize thanks to Hampus Lindholm.

In the end, the decision had to be made in extra time, which did not last very long. At 61:54, David Pastrňák was the first to reach the rebounded puck from the back bar and after a loop to the backhand, he directed the puck into the goal.

Bruins celebrate advancing to the second round of the playoffs, there is a lot of disappointment on Toronto’s side.
