Alexis Lafreniere scored two goals for the Rangers, who won the sixth game in this year’s playoffs. The number one draft pick in 2020 opened the scoring in the 10th minute and tied the score at 2:2 at the beginning of the second period. Carolina also had a two-goal scorer: Jake Guentzel made it 1-1 in the 39th minute, giving the team a 3-2 lead.

The Rangers turned the game around on power plays. Chris Kreider and Vincent Trocheck in overtime made their way from the rebounds. Artěmij Panarin contributed to the second win for the home team with three assists. On the other side, Sebastian Aho scored all three goals.

Dallas, whose advancement to the semifinals of the Western Conference was decided two days ago by Radek Faksa, got off to an excellent start. He led by three goals after the opening period with goals from Ryan Suter, Wyatt Johnston and Jamie Benn.

Colorado reduced the difference to one goal in the middle part by using power plays in which Valerij Ničushkin and Cale Makar scored. At the beginning of the third period, Nathan MacKinnon equalized, and at 71:03 Miles Wood gave the guests a winning entry into the series.
