Lampičová published a photo of herself with Gross on her Instagram account, to which she wrote: “It’s a great pity that we had to split up. I don’t understand at all what, when and why this happened. All I can say about it is that no one asked us athletes what we thought. We had goals that we wanted to achieve together at the Olympics. Thanks for everything you taught me. I miss you already.”
