You will most often see a combination of a layered necklace in stores, where one is pearl and the other gold, even with a pendant. But you can also find minimalistic combinations of silver and one pearl on a chain or earring, where one large pearl plays the main role.

And they don’t just go out of style. “Pearls should not be missing from any woman’s wardrobe. It doesn’t always have to be a necklace full of pearls. This performance is immortal, but I would recommend it to younger generations or young men. Pearls also suit them very well,” advises stylist Irena Vokrojová. “Older women will like pearls in a smaller design complemented by a chain made of white or yellow metal, both in the case of a necklace and a bracelet,” advises the stylist.
Why wear pearls?
Although we have now sung odes to pearls, they also have a problematic side. They can add years to your look if you opt for a chunkier necklace and pair it with conservative wardrobe pieces like a sheath dress. Choose more subtle jewelry for these outfits.
Pearls create a beautiful contrast with casual fashion. “The summer season with exposed tanned skin is a unique moment to try them. All you have to do is put on the dress and the pearls will take care of all the accessories. In addition, they give the look a seaside feeling,” advises the stylist. According to Irena Vokrojová, pearls also look great in combination with denimleather and all men’s pieces such as a shirt or jacket.
Jewelry with pearls
