Despite the fact that it is still not possible to pay using the Huawei watch and there is no indication that the situation is likely to change anytime soon.

The most popular model is the Huawei Watch GT 4, which offers excellent durability, an attractive design and a very pleasant price tag. However, in Huawei’s portfolio we can find several lesser-known models, and one of them has just now received HarmonyOS 4.0. This is the Huawei Watch GT Runner.

The modified version of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro was aimed at athletes from the beginning, the appearance, silicone strap or slightly modified functions with the support of training plans correspond to this. Basically, it’s still the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro, which received the fourth generation of HarmonyOS a few weeks ago. Don’t be surprised that the list of changes completely copies the base model. You will be pleased with the function of preventing wrong touches during exercise, you can place more information on the exercise screen, the exercise record has been improved for selected sports (unfortunately, the manufacturer does not specify which ones, which is a shame).

When will the Huawei watch learn to pay?

Let’s see where Huawei will move in the world of smart watches this year. From my point of view, there is no room for improvement in terms of design or battery life, so it beats the competition. But paying with a watch is missing more every year… In addition, I would appreciate some more significant modification of the user interface, I don’t want to say that it is downright ugly, but the zero possibility of customization does not suit me. In this respect, I still remember the watch Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2, whose user interface looked fantastic! Even the absence of the Health app in the Play Store is not ideal, you have to download it from the AppGallery or the manufacturer’s website.
