Last week, Bethesda released the next-gen update for Fallout 4, which provided players with support for 4K resolution and 60 FPS on current consoles. However, the release of the update was not without problems. Criticism was leveled at Bethesda, for example, from PlayStation Plus subscribers, who did not get access to the free update. At the same time, the developers assured fans before the release that the update would be available for free to all owners of the original game. But Bethesda finally came up with a fix in this direction after a few days.
First, the next-gen update was unlocked for subscribers of the PlayStation Plus Extra service, and finally for players who already added the game to their library in the past added through the PlayStation Plus Collection. However, some players on both consoles and PC continue to complain about persistent technical shortcomings and problematic compatibility with modifications. So the game is currently still quite far from being in an ideal state.
