However, there is already talk in the corridors that Apple could introduce a completely new addition to the existing range next year, which will most likely replace the not-so-well-selling Plus model.

The Plus variant will be replaced by the Slim model

At least that’s what the respected analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong Investment Company claims, who very often comes up with accurate information. The so-called iPhone 17 Slim should replace the Plus model and offer prospective buyers a 6.6-inch display, a thinner design, an A18 or A19 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, a 24 Mpx front selfie camera and a 48 Mpx rear telephoto lens. At the same time, Pu expects the iPhone 17 Slim to have an aluminum body, so titanium will probably remain reserved only for higher models. At the same time, the analyst believes that the new Slim model will also be different in its design, but he did not come up with any specific details.

The iPhone 17 model line should arrive in the fall of 2025, unless Apple’s plans change significantly by then. According to the Instant Digital server, iPhones planned for 2025 are to receive a brand new durable glass that is supposed to be even more resistant to scratches, and in addition to have a significantly more effective anti-reflective layer than in the case of current models. Aside from these details, we don’t know anything else about the upcoming iPhone 17 series for now, but as the launch date approaches, more speculation and news will surely emerge.
