A total of 15 glass statuettes with natural amber were taken away from the Amber Awards ceremony by the artists for their extraordinary performances last year and a lifetime’s work dedicated to the Moravian-Silesian region.

Artists won the most prizes for their roles in the Moravian-Silesian National Theatre.
Kamila Janovičová, NDM Ostrava, Jantar Award for the main role of Nora in Ibsen’s drama: “The collaboration was fantastic, I really appreciate it and I’m glad that people noticed it and liked it.”
Nikol Bóková, Jantar Award for the Expedition album: “It’s already my second Jantar, because last year I even got it for two albums that came out before and it’s still just as beautiful.”
Actor Norbert Lichý and singer Patricia Burda Janečková received the Jantar Award for lifetime contribution in memoriam.
The Jantar Awards ceremony also offered a number of unique performances. Singer and popular actor Vladimír Javorský, among others, performed with his band.
