E.ON is once again discounting fixed price lists for new clients. New customers save on electricity and gas – Cysnews

For the third time this year, E.ON has reduced the prices of acquisition fixed products. When choosing a one-year or two-year fixation in the most common single tariff rates, new customers will pay up to CZK 201 less than before for the supply of 1 MWh of electricity. For gas, those who use it for cooking will pay CZK 293 less per 1 MWh compared to the last valid price lists. As of May 1, E.ON is also reducing gas prices across the board for all existing customers without a fixed price.

“We continuously adjust the range of fixed products for clients. We try to respond to market developments and transfer positive trends to price lists for end users. This year alone, we have already reduced the price of acquisition products in January and at the beginning of April, and for the third time at the beginning of this week,” calculates Radek Fišer, head of energy sales to households at E.ON Energie.

New customers who use electricity for regular consumption in the single-tariff distribution rate and choose a two-year fixation will now pay CZK 3,384 with VAT (CZK 2,797 without VAT) for 1 MWh of electricity. Those who use gas and choose a two-year fixation will pay CZK 1,391 with VAT (CZK 1,150 without VAT). If the new customer prefers a contract for only one year, from this week he will pay for the supply of 1 MWh u electricity 3,507 CZK with VAT (2,898 CZK without VAT) and gas 1,488 CZK with VAT (1,230 CZK without VAT).

“We offer customers a wide portfolio of products from one-year fixations to price lists for a longer period of time with a decreasing price over the years. We also modified them for new clients in April. It can be said that we currently see the greatest customer interest in products with a two-year fixation and a trend where clients are returning to this longer two-year fixation. We try to offer clients fair prices. This is also evident from the fact that more than 100,000 customers chose us as their new supplier last year alone,” adds Radek Fišer.

E.ON continuously offers discounts to its regular customers

Company E.ON also continuously adjusts the prices for its existing customers. Therefore, from May 1, approximately 150,000 clients with products for an indefinite period will reduce gas prices. Regular customers will thus save 13 to 21% on gas supply compared to current prices. For the third time in a year and a half, E.ON has begun general discounting, and its prices have long been among the most favorable on the market. For comparison, the price will be 35% lower compared to last year’s price ceilings, which E.ON clients paid for the whole year at some merchants. Last year alone, the company also reduced prices twice for its customers who had contracts for an indefinite period, both for gas and electricity. Altogether, it affected roughly a million clients.

In the same way, E.ON continuously adjusts fixed price lists for existing customers. In March, for example, it reduced prices in the Komplet MAX product with a decreasing price until the end of 2026.
