Mass accident of three cars near Votic. Four people are in hospitals

On the afternoon of Sunday, April 28, there was an accident on the road near Votic in the Benešovsk region. One woman was airlifted to the Central Military Hospital. The doctors have a total of four people under their care.

A three-car traffic accident happened near the village of Votice in the Benešovsk region. The driver, who probably fell asleep, drove in the opposite direction and collided head-on with the 60-year-old driver of the Škoda Octavia. “From the collision of the cars, the driver bounced back into his lane, where he crashed into another passing car,” Central Bohemian Police spokeswoman Michaela Richterová told Deník.

Rescuers who were called took over four people. “We have four patients under our care. The woman, who was pinned, was airlifted to the Central Military Hospital. The doctor suspected an injury to her abdomen and pelvis,” said Monika Nováková, spokeswoman for Central Bohemian rescuers, when asked by Deník. A total of four people were injured. One man was transported to a hospital in Motola. The other two injured were taken to a hospital in Benešov.

According to the police, breath tests for alcohol at the scene were negative. In one case, the breath test could not be performed due to the patient’s medical condition.
