A paraglider crashed on Prachaticka, he fell from about thirty meters to a meadow

On Monday shortly before 4 p.m., the medical operations center received a report of the fall of a paraglider who died on a meadow in the Kahova cadastre.

Two medical teams from Prachatice went to the city, and the helicopter of the Air Rescue Service was released, said Zuzana Fajtlov, spokesperson for the South Bohemian Rescue Service.

She added that according to the information of his colleagues from the city, in his middle years he got into a spiral and fell to the ground from about twenty or ten meters.

He was fully conscious and communicating when he was taken to the rescue. He suffered multiple injuries, Fajtlov said.

His condition required immobilization of the body with the help of a vacuum mattress and a short strap. After stabilization, the rescuers carried him to the helicopter, which transported him to the hospital in Eskobudjovice.

The paraglider, in particular, took off from the so-called take-off under Keplick vrch, where he crashed last year and was eight years old.
