Not having a leg doesn’t matter. Handicapped compete with “normals”, sometimes even crush them

--

Maro Kudlk was for many bc praskho bhu an inspiration to catch up in the heat. I’m used to the heat, here in the south of Slovakia we have hot summers, said Kudlk for iDNES.cz.

The Slovak bec has only one leg, in his twenties the doctors diagnosed him with synovial sarcoma, i.e. an aggressive form of soft tissue cancer. He struggled with the diagnosis for many years, the disease eventually subsided, but Maro’s lower limb had to be amputated during that time, so with a full basketball career, he took St.

Maro, however, remained positive, and in addition to his family, his colleagues also helped him. When I drank the house after the amputation, I drank the whole day, it charged me with positive energy, firstly a Slovak athlete, who by the way finished the break of the water line in a glorious time of about ten hours and twenty-six minutes.

However, the one-legged man did not always perform such athletic feats; shortly after the amputation, he thought that physical activity would be forbidden to him.

Ironman drain

Ironman is one of a series of long triathlons under the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC). It consists of swimming on a route 3.86 km long, cycling (180.25 km) and marathon bhu (42.2 km). The discharge took place in the specified order and without any interference.

I sat down close to the shoe, said Kudlk. However, his sporting spirit stirred, he started playing table football, gradually he learned crossfit, high-intensity circular training, and the Spartan Race trap, one of the most popular peck traps in the world, which is known for its very smooth terrain. There are 66 of them in a row, Maro informs.

The course of the one-legged bee inspires others, which Kudlik knew, and he is proud of it. He started to be active in social gatherings, where he tries to show people that with a handicap you can beat not only sports, but also life. Above all, don’t lift anything, he says, adding that his next goal is the Ironman triathlon.

I woke up ten days after the disco

Miroslav Motejzk, a one-legged Czech paralyser, recently showed that nothing is impossible, who at the end of the race in Jokkmokku tried to complete the longest one-day ski slope in the Nordenskildsloppet world. And he fell asleep, he entered the Guinness Book of Records. But his career began elsewhere, in Strakonice, where nineteen years ago he was returning with his friends from the local discotheque at night and ran into them drunkenly.

I woke up and after ten days in the ARU with eleven fractures. Then there were nineteen operations, first Motejzk. They put him back together, but according to para lyae, the lion’s leg was completely broken, so after a few years he convinced the doctors to amputate it.

After graduating from the European Grand Slam in 2023, Czech couple Miroslav Motejzk decided to push the limits not only of himself, but also to go further. At the end of the run, the Nordenskildsloppet, the world’s longest one-day ski slope, took place in the village of Jokkmokk.

After a while, I realized that it is better to have a full life with a prosthesis than to suffer with a sick leg, to Motjezk.

As a child he was hyperactive, he played football at the regional level for years, but he also enjoyed tennis, swimming or climbing mountains. He was motivated by other disabled people he met after the accident. Their energy boosted me, the amputation of my left leg was caused by a childhood illness, I realized that I actually had nothing to stand on, explains Motejzk.

And he really didn’t stand still, because among other things he completed the extreme thorn triathlon in Prachatice, and he even managed to conquer the top of the Himalayan mountain Mera Peak, which is six and a half kilometers away. He is thus the only physically challenged athlete without a leg in the Czech Republic and Slovakia who was able to conquer the Ironman.

He wasn’t even scared by the 220-kilometer-long river on the banks, thanks to which he entered the record books.

That was the main arrest, I had to deal with slow seductresses, describes Motejzk, adding that the first word the seductress said was massacre. The Guinness Book of World Records is not due for him, please take care of him. I mainly want to live a quality life and ideally help others and inspire them, says Motejzk.

Going to Mont Blanc with hemophiliacs

When Daniel was born, there was no indication that he was suffering from a rare disease. But as soon as he started to move around in the bed and cut into their sides, bruises started to appear on his back. Therefore, the parents turned to doctors, who discovered that he had hemophilia. They explained to them that it was a genetic disease manifested by a blood coagulation disorder, which is why there were so many moles on the mother’s body, Daniel describes.

The doctors immediately put on a so-called prophylactic cap, which regularly injects the missing concentration of the safety factor into the blood. They had to give me injections every few days. My child’s laka natst lived near our house and intrail application helped him. At first she did it, but later the parents took care of it themselves, writes Daniel.

The prophylactic cap protected him from bleeding and the complications associated with it, which can also cause permanent damage to the joint. Lkai began to look for the cause of Daniel’s illness, this genetic disorder had never appeared in his family before. They found out that Daniel’s mother is a hemophiliac.

The Clem expedition is in support of the Save One Life international project, which will help patients with hemophilia in less developed countries. Even that was a reason, for Daniel he didn’t mind. However, in order for the expedition to take place, he must collect 4,000 euros in the charity fund, which will go directly to the patients in the castle of their skulls. Who wants to support Daniel in his efforts, send me a postcard to the Czech Association of Hemophiliacs, . . 2109200873/2700, and write Mont Blanc at the beginning.

My parents took it as a fact that we all have to learn to deal with it. They were very careful with me, for example, my mother rolled my knee pads into my pants to cushion the fall. My grandmothers were also very caring. But we tried to function normally, for which I am very grateful to the whole family, to Daniel.

Sm coped with hemophilia in childhood relatively quickly, but he recognized a number of hemophiliacs who did not put up with this disease so easily. For some children, it took a long time. Combined camps help them a lot in this, Daniel explains.

Hemophilia will never disappear from his life, so he undergoes prophylactic surgery and a trip to the hospital for regular check-ups. If I have a problem, I can consult with the doctors over the phone, they are very helpful, adds Daniel, who is currently studying mathematics in his fourth year at Charles University in Prague.

In addition to his early studies, he has a new challenge ahead of him. In Ervenc, an attempt to conquer Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe, together with eight other hemophiliacs from all over the world. I was chosen as a representative of the Czech Association of Hemophiliacs, with whom I have been working for a long time. It’s a huge challenge for me, even when mountains are not my favorite hobby, I couldn’t refuse this offer, Daniel smiled.

The sleepiest one

He stood at the start of this summer’s Prague marathon and on Sunday at the 10th marathon. Ji Jeek is a role model for many disabled athletes. At the age of 11, I amputated my right leg below the knee.

Her

However, he did not give up his dream of being an athlete and became the most successful cyclist in Paralympic history, when he brought home a total of six gold medals from the Paralympics.

He is involved in various charity projects and motivational events. He wrote an autobiographical book, Frajer, about his life. In the fall, the Star Dance will be one of the highlights of the dance series.
