On the advertising portal Mobile.de, we found a Superb of the second generation, which its owner, according to his own words, purchased precisely as a collector’s item. And today he is selling it with only 1,750 kilometers on it. It is also interesting that the car is available in German Saská Kamenice (Chemnitz in German), i.e. not far from our borders.

At the same time, the station wagon managed such a small portion of kilometers in nine long years, from which it is clear that it really spent more time in the garage than on the road. It was registered for service in March 2015, just shortly before the second generation Superb was discontinued. Production ended in June 2015.

In addition to the low ground clearance, the car also impresses with its design. The first owner ordered it with the Outdoor package, which at the time represented the then non-existent Scout version. The kit was available exclusively for the Combi body version and, because it played an off-road note, it included, for example, fender and sill trims, protective strips or modified bumpers with unpainted plastics.

The copy for sale is equipped with Elegance, which offers a number of attractive features, such as a leather interior, heated seats, navigation, independent heating and bi-xenon headlights. And we must add that in the few available photos the interior looks very well preserved. By the way, note that the odometer shows an even 1,655 km.

Under the hood hides the most powerful diesel engine available at the time. The two-liter turbodiesel in the standard version provides a maximum output of 125 kW at 4,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 Nm between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm. But the seller mentions the software modification of the control unit, which increased the output to 151 kW, i.e. 205 horsepower.

The engine is connected to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the car also has all-wheel drive.

The owner is reportedly getting rid of the practically unused Superb Combi Outdoor “for reasons of space”, but he is not in a hurry to sell it. The Skoda is offered for 32,900 euros, which is about 825,000 crowns. And in the ad, he doesn’t forget to emphasize that a new car nine years ago cost more than 60,000 euros…
