Several units of firefighters from the Liberec region intervened on Thursday afternoon in Libštát in the Semila region. A tractor with a flatbed crashed into the family house there.
“We are responding to a traffic accident in Libštát in the Semila region, where a tractor crashed into a family house,” the fire department informed https://twitter.com/hzs_lbk/status/1788591608520212563 on Thursday before six thirty in the afternoon.
Photos shared by firefighters show the entire front end of the tractor has sunk into the house and fresh cracks are visible in the wall.
“Nobody was in the house at the time of the traffic accident. We disconnected the family house from the power supply, secured the tractor against further movement, covered the leaked operating fluids with a sorbent,” described the firefighters.
They added that road 283 between Košťálov and Libštát will be closed while the tractor is recovered from the family home. “In cooperation with the Police of the Czech Republic, we secured detour routes,” said the firefighters.
