Today at noon, President Petr Pavel will accept the credentials of four new ambassadors to the Czech Republic. The ambassadors of Guatemala, Guinea, Burkina Faso and Mauritania will officially start their diplomatic mission. None of them will be based in Prague.
Guatemala will be represented by career diplomat Jorge Skinner-Klée, who previously worked in Germany, Canada, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria and most recently the Netherlands. He also headed the Permanent Representation of Guatemala to the United Nations. He will be based in Vienna.
The new ambassador of Guinea will be Aliou Barry, who in Berlin also holds the position of ambassador for several other countries, for example Norway or Italy.
The new ambassador of Burkina Faso, Maimounata Ouattara, who is also the head of the Permanent Representation of her country to the UN, will also work in the Austrian capital. He also has experience working at the embassy in Washington.
Boubacar Kane, the new ambassador of Mauritania to the Czech Republic, will be based in Berlin. At the same time, he is at the head of a diplomatic mission in, for example, Germany, Italy or Latvia.
