His minister is caught drunk behind the wheel, but Kadyrov blames not the minister, but the policemen who caught him. In another case, he is handed over a hunter who committed a crime, only on the basis that Kadyrov wants him (the fact that his son subsequently beat him in a police cell only illustrates the situation). Kadyrov may have an absolutely impenetrable position from the point of view of state power, when he actually stands above any laws, including federal ones. Putin knows that Kadyrov can’t be looked down upon, which is why even the comment from the Kremlin sounded very apologetic.

The case of the American propagandist Russell Bentley, who disappeared a day ago and has now been found dead, unrelated to Kadyrov, clearly points to the essence of the problem.
