The TASS agency reported that Ukrainian drones hit vehicles carrying employees of the Agro-Belgorje company, which is engaged in the production of pork.

The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, wrote on his Telegram account that the attack happened near the village of Beryozovka, which is located near the border with Ukraine. According to him, two children are also among the injured. He added that information about this incident is being clarified.

In the meantime, the Russian regional Telegram channel Pepel wrote that seven people died after the impact of a Russian bomb that fell from an airplane on a house in Belgorod.

“A girl with a concussion and a foreign body in her eye is in the regional children’s hospital, doctors from the regional children’s hospital are providing the other girl with all the necessary medical care and sent her home,” Gladko’s website quoted, stating that the governor himself did not immediately inform about the cause of the large-scale explosion, during which 42 houses and 12 cars were allegedly damaged.

Russia’s border regions are facing shelling and drone attacks attributed to Ukraine by Russian authorities in connection with Russia’s invasion of a neighboring country. Kyiv does not comment on them.

Ukraine has been resisting a Russian military invasion for more than two years. On Monday night, Russia deployed attack drones to attack energy infrastructure in the Sumy region in northern Ukraine, the regional administration said.
