Blyatmobile, turtle or battle barn, is the name given to the home-made Russian tanks that lead attacks against Ukrainian positions in Ukraine. According to the latest video, they have added another level of protection. An anti-drone cage is also added to the “roof”, which the tank is equipped with. According to the video, it is also equipped against mines. However, the modifications are gradually reaching the standard tanks of the Russian forces.

Description: Another modification of the Russian tank for resistance to drones

As we have already reported, the Russians are adapting their technology on the battlefield. One of the mocked, but ultimately practical concepts turned out to be a modification of tanks, which received the name “battle barn” or “blyatmobile”.

Now a video has appeared with another modification. In addition to the metal structure and anti-mine equipment, a cage was added to the tank. This is intended against drones, against which the tank is already protected by the newly added structure and jammers. Protection against drones should thus be, at least in theory, even greater.

Officially, this modification is said to be called Čerepeka, however, the term Blyatmobile, or “Blyatmobile 2” has apparently become popular on social networks.

In any case, these, perhaps ridiculous-looking tanks, are a logical development path, according to military analysts. Ukraine has a shortage of ammunition for artillery and a shortage of guided anti-tank missiles. What he still has plenty of, on the other hand, are mines and drones. It is with them that they try to replace the lack of heavy weapons, but it is precisely against them that the tank is modified with an anti-mine cylinder and a roof, now additionally equipped with a cage, which appeared on tanks before.

Criticism of the tank is mostly based on the fact that by welding the sheet metal structure, the tank loses the mobility of the turret with the cannon and de facto becomes an assault cannon. Not to mention that the construction reduces the already poor visibility. While this criticism is true, these disadvantages are quite negligible compared to the fact that the tank improved in this way is basically invulnerable to the most used weapons of the Ukrainian army. However, such a weapon would not make sense for Ukraine. As reported in the Western media, if the Russians do not suffer from something, it is the lack of artillery ammunition.

According to the video, even standard T-90 tanks of the Russian army are already starting to be equipped with anti-drone nets.
